Precision Ortho Lab has years of fabricating clear aligners to straighten teeth. We utilize 3Shape OrthoAnalyzer software to accomplish this. There are obvious limits to what we can treat. Anything that would have originally been treated with a removable spring aligner can be done more accurately with clear aligners.
What we can treat:
Small anterior diastemas provided there is enough room to close the arch and not interfere with the opposing arch.
Minor anterior crowding. Usually a maximum of 2mm can be achieved. (All IPR estimates will be provided with each case)
What we don't treat:
Posterior crossbites
Skeletal malocclusions
Angle's Class II or Class III
Our use of aligning teeth with clear aligners is not meant to be a replacement for traditional orthodontics or Invisalign. It is ideal for minor anterior tooth movement to improve aesthetics. Most insurances covers this type of limited orthodontic treatment. We will accept any case for evaluation and we know our limits. If too much movement or arch expansion is required we won't accept the case. If ever in question please call or send the case for a free evaluation.
This is an excellent way for the clinician to straighten anterior teeth and dramatically improve aesthetics. It is also much cheaper than other well-known clear aligner products. Every case we receive is first reviewed and evaluated to determine if the patient is a good candidate for our aligners. Then the case is fully treatment planned including number of trays, distance of movement of each tooth and estimated IPR values. This comprehensive report is sent to the prescribing doctor of approval. No case is ever completed without the doctors full knowledge of our proposed TX plan. This is all completed at NO CHARGE and NO COMMITMENT. If the doctor and patient agree on the treatment plan we proceed. Fabricating the trays usually only takes a few days and you can deliver the case within a week of approval.
Every case qualifies for two sets of refinement trays if necessary at no additional charge.
